My estranged mother crashed my wedding – what I did to cause a family rift

She is a bad mother.

A so-called cheating cheater who definitely wasn’t invited to her 26-year-old daughter’s destination wedding ended up crashing the event anyway – but the furious bride’s reaction seems to have only made matters worse.

The crazy honeymooner took to Reddit to tell her tale of woe, saying that she and her alleged criminal mastermind mother have been “estranged” for about three years after the untold incident, People reported.

“I cut off contact with her after I found out she stole $10,000 from me and put me over $50,000 in debt by stealing from me. [social security number],” she lamented, in a post that has since been removed.

“She has always been very emotionally abusive and has done everything in her power to separate my husband and [me] before we got married. For these reasons (and more), I decided not to invite him to my destination wedding,” she explained.

Alas, just an hour before the ceremony began, the wife learned through her maid of honor that the mother had arrived – meaning she flew across the country to knowingly crash my wedding.

After an awkward scene, the mum took the hint to quit – which didn’t sit well with some in the wedding party.

“Some family members confronted me about it and told me that I am wrong and that I should let her stay because she just wants to see her first daughter get married,” she added.

“I know that wasn’t the reason – that it was just a power move [by my mom] to reintroduce himself into my life,” the woman fretted.

Now for the lady of the hour comes the arm of the mother of the bride’s family, “blowing” the phone with requests for forgiveness.

Redditors came out in force in favor of the poster.

“Your boundaries matter and it’s essential to protect your peace, especially on such a special day. It is clearly a manipulative behavior of hers to show up uninvited. Stick to your decision!” wrote one.

“She was never a mother to you. She used you financially, stole your ID to commit fraud, is emotionally abusive, and methodically tried to destroy your relationship. Thank God you cut him out of your life,” added another.

One commenter even touched on a way for the bride to get revenge.

“I’m wondering if the feds would be interested in stealing the [social security] number.”
